What we build
Double-face projecting cabinets, dimensional blades, and lit edges when the street goes dark.
Desi Signs — custom signs made in Edmonton. Design, manufacture, and install.
Blade Signs
A blade hangs perpendicular to the wall so people walking the block see you before they see the fascia.
Blades are for streets where everyone is already looking down the sidewalk — Whyte Avenue, 124 Street, a mall corridor. The fascia can wait.
We size the projection to the bylaw and the awning, then light it if the evening trade matters. Hardware is specified for the wall you actually have.
Double-face projecting cabinets, dimensional blades, and lit edges when the street goes dark.
Retail, restaurants, and offices on pedestrian streets with a narrow frontage.
Projection, height above grade, and wind load first. Copy second.
Variants
A small box that still reads after sunset without becoming a pylon.
Cut letters or a mark on both faces. Quiet, architectural.
The ironwork is part of the drawing. Masonry and ACM get different fasteners.
Interior blades with landlord-spec edges and lighting.
Where It Works
When the fascia is already dense and the walk-by is the customer.
A mark that sits in the walking line of sight, not on a distant parapet.
Evening hours. The blade is on when the kitchen is.
You do not own the whole elevation. You still need a name in the path.
